Promise Faith Centre Churches International East Africa Network.
Promise Faith Centre churches in East Africa has expanded significantly to 25 locations and now has a presence in many members and affiliated churches in Uganda and other parts of East Africa. Under the grace which was bestowed to Bishop Barry Cunnington, Promise Faith Centre Churches in East Africa have experienced rapid growth through evangelism efforts and conventions, leading to the adoption of the name “Promise Faith Centre Churches International”.

In 2025, Rev. Matthew Knighton got this interview from Bishop John Musoke to share his story of connection and establishment in the Promise Faith Church Network of East Africa.
In 2004, Reverend Barry and Reverend Sandra Cunnington embarked on a missionary trip to Nairobi, Kenya. There, the Holy Spirit connected them with Pastor John Paul Musoke, who invited them to visit Uganda
.
The Cunningtons made their first visit to Uganda in 2005 and returned in 2007. It was during this second trip that Promise Faith Centre Church was established in the region. This led to an expanding network of Promise Faith Centre Churches throughout Uganda and neighbouring East African nations.
Bishop Barry’s ministry brought a refreshing of God’s Holy Spirit to people oppressed and held in captivity. A powerful outpouring of God’s Spirit liberated the church, bringing them into a place of renewal and demonstrating the message of the Promise Faith Centre Churches: “Promise Obtainers Glorify God.”

The pastoral leadership for PFCCI East Africa includes Reverend Anita Irving, who serves as the Missions Co-Ordinator, and Bishop John Paul Musoke and his wife Immaculate Musoke, who serve as the International Directors.
We are thankful to God for each of these dedicated servants of Christ and for the work He is doing through them. The growth of Promise Faith Centre across Africa and beyond is a testament to His faithfulness and provision. We continue to trust Him for further expansion and empowerment for all our leaders.
The PFCCI currently consists of a network of member churches throughout the nations of East Africa. These churches are in agreement with the PFCC’s mission and vision and, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, have covenanted to unite with the Promise Faith Centre Church family.

“Children of Hope” began in Uganda at the Promise Faith Centre Headquarter Church in Kitala, Entebbe. This initiative provides support to needy primary school children, especially on Bussi Island and in the Mubende and Kibale Districts of Uganda.
“Children of Hope” is an initiative of Promise Faith Centre Churches International (PFCCI) that aims to provide care and support to orphaned and vulnerable children in various communities. This program addresses the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of children without parental care. We often work to keep families together and prevent children from falling into negative habits.
“Children of Hope” is not just about providing shelter; it’s about nurturing hope and fostering a supportive community. We recognize that there are diverse types of orphans, including double orphans (lost both parents), single orphans (lost one parent), and social orphans (orphaned due to social factors).

The Jabulani Community Development Project is a community-based organization established to holistically address issues affecting widows, orphans, vulnerable women and children, and the elderly.
Our core goal is to build a society where these marginalized groups can be empowered to communicate their ideas, exhibit their potential, and take action to change their lives, their communities, and the country at large.
The Jabulani Community Development Project works to challenge cultural customs, change social attitudes, and empower widows economically and socially. Our focus is on holistic development, including empowering widows through savings schemes and poverty eradication.
