CHURCH PLANTING

Our African Ministry Family

In 1998, Bishop Barry held his first overseas mission in West Timor, an island within the nation of Indonesia. This first mission demonstrated the grace on Bishop Barry’s life to bring a refreshing of God’s Holy Spirit to a people oppressed and held in captivity to ‘another spirit’. An outpouring of God’s Spirit occurred which liberated a church and brought them into a place of renewal, and which demonstrated the power of the message of Promise Faith Centre Churches.

The call to africa

Faithful in little, Faithful in much!

in 1999, we began our first mission into Africa through the Bethlehem community centre in Nairobi, Kenya, focusing on Aid to their orphanage and open air crusades, both in Nairobi and in western Kenya in a town called Mateus, here also we began our first outreach to widows building widows homes.

Our missions in Africa began to expand when we were invited to Uganda by a pastor, John Paul Musoke and his wife Immaculate. John Paul Musoke, now Bishop, rapidly expanded our network of churches within Uganda and surrounding nations, as the grace inherent in the Word of God’s promises grew and has prevailed as the ‘Promise Obtainers Message’ is preached.

Simultaneously we were invited to Ghana, in West Africa, by Pastor John Kweku Andoh, again to assist in Aid to widows and orphans and hold open air crusades. John Andoh, now Bishop, oversees a network of churches within the Promise Faith Centre Churches International group. The Freedom House on Freedom Rise Farm, is the showcase of the ministry in Ghana.

The PFCCI currently consists of a network of member churches throughout the nations of Africa who are in agreement with the PFCC Mission and Vision and by the leading of the Holy Spirit have covenanted to unite with the Promise Faith Centre Church family.

The African Network is led by three Network Directors who work alongside National Directors of each nation where a Promise Faith Network Church exists. PFCCI Network Church members recognize the spiritual oversight of the Senior Ministers and International Directors, Rev. Barry and Rev. Sandra Cunnington and their delegated authorities.
